Math is used regularly in our daily lives and our students need to learn these skills so they can succeed. The students will need fractions to follow a recipe, percents to understand interest rates on their new car, and later when they are decorating their homes.People have been using these same principles for many years.
Math is a universal subject. No human invented math concepts; however, we did discover these concepts. Also, the language of math is numbers, not English or Russian or Spanish.
Through the Mathematic pages in TRIP, the Mobile County Public School System hopes to provide resources for your classroom and lesson planning.
